Description
Reduce the hazards of steel columns protruding into your facilities usable space by installing durable Douglas® USA made protective padding. This wrap padding uses a channel design to cover the front and sides of the I-beam’s face and edges and easily installs with industrial Velcro strips.
Standard size panels are 6’ high x 2” thick. Standard I-beam padding is custom made for I-beams measuring 1/2″ thick and up to a 12” wide beam face. The 2″ thick, high-impact polyethylene foam is wrapped in durable long lasting 14 oz. solid vinyl. The flame resistant vinyl is antibacterial, anti-fungal, rot and mildew resistant, and fire retardant to meet all standard fire codes including NFPA 701 and California Fire Marshall. The reinforced double sewn padding is effortless to install by using the provided industrial adhesive Velcro.
Choose from standard colors forest green, black, royal blue, navy blue, and red. Additional colors are available upon request.
